Welcome to the Senior School

The Senior School (Years 7-13) is situated in Horn Park Lane and comprises approximately 700 pupils. In Year 7 - 11 each year contains five classes of approximately 22 pupils, averaging between 108-110 pupils per year. The Sixth Form (Years 12 & 13) averages between 180-200 students in any one year.  From the beginning we strive to ensure that the curriculum is exciting and wide-ranging. Class sizes are small and learning is designed to be stimulating and challenging. French and Latin are studied in Years 7 and 8 with an option to study German or Spanish also available. Setting is introduced in Mathematics in Year 8 and subsequently  in Science and Languages. Top sets are prepared for the more stimulating IGCSE courses in Maths and separate GCSE Science examinations.
