Colfe’s U14 netballers are now the best netball squad in London and the South East after winning all seven of their matches in the Regional Final of the National Schools’ Netball Championships.
Having won the Kent Schools’ Tournament in January, the pressure was on for the team to perform when they travelled to Redbridge Sports Centre, on Sunday 29th January 2012.
Coach Miss Holder said “The girls played superbly, winning all seven of their matches comfortably. Scoring sixty five goals and conceding just twenty four they really were in a different league to the other teams.”
Director of Sport, Mrs Rayes said: “This is a truly inspirational team; successful, determined and quietly confident. They are all such lovely girls, good friends and have the full support of their parents who watch and cheer come rain or shine. Thank you for a delightful day and I wish you all every success in the finals.
Colfe’s will now represent London and the South East Region at the National Schools’ Finals on Sunday 25th March.
